Nearby are the charming, cosmopolitan Spanish towns of Alhaurin el Grande & Coin with great restaurants, lively bars & good shopping. The quaint white town of Mijas that has stunning views is just a 10-minute drive away. The glitz and glamour of Puerto Banus is about 30 minutes away and so is the historic town of Malaga. Ronda is another historic place of interest that is well worth a visit. A 90-minute drive will take you to ski resorts, so it is possible to sunbathe and ski on the same day!!.

For sport lovers in addition to the wonderful golf in this area, horse riding, 4x4 trekking, tennis & mountain biking are some of the things available locally, plus there are some really lovely country walks and some great bird watching.

Families really enjoy the Dolphin Show and Water Park in Fuengirola & Benalmadena and the Selwo Animal Park plus numerous other local attractions too numerous to mention.

Golfers will be pleased to learn that there are several other golf courses within a 10-minute drive including La Cala and Mijas.
